How to cook dumpling king dumplings
cooking my dumplings are as easy making scrambled eggs. they taste a lot better, too.
STEAM-FRY STYLE (applicable to all dumplings I make)
** You're going to need a good non-stick pan **
1. Place 2-3 tbsp of oil (canola or grapeseed is best) in a non-stick pan, then place frozen dumplings and fill with water 3/4 way up the dumpling. turn heat on high (you can cover them to speed up the process but take the cover off when it starts boiling).
2. allow water to completely evaporate (this will cook the filling). When you hear sizzling, check the bottoms of the dumplings - nice and brown? good to go. Enjoy.
Recommendations on serving: enjoy with chinese black vinegar and grated ginger
How to cook GRandma STYLE Wun Tun:
Go get your most favourite pot to boil wun tun.
Fill the pot 3/4 up with water (or your favourite broth/stock) and wait for it to come to a boil (Don’t forget to turn your stove !!on!!)
Pour the frozen grandma style wun tun into the boiling pot (gently, so you don’t burn yourself!!!)
Stir the wun tuns gently in a counter clock wise motion (or clockwise, the choice is yours!!!) so it makes a vortex. This will prevent them from sticking.
they should be ready to eat in 15-20 minutes (Don’t burn your tongue!!!!!)
I don’t think boiling Taiwanese Style or JWB (or others with that folding style) is a good idea. BUt hey - who am I to tell you what to do? No gods no masters.
